My positive review is influenced by the hotel's accommodating my request to reduce the room rate because of the parking lot's being repaved. Even so, room 107 was perfect: well-decorated, warm fireplace, private, clean, and comfortable. Great value. The neighborhood is quiet, on the Estero, and close to the bay.

Our favorite place to stay in Monterey. Very affordable rooms are always clean. You are 100 steps from the beach. Across the street from Dennis the Menace Park. The heated pool for and Jacuzzi is our favorite part.

The location of this hotel was the best. Walking distance to the main strip for banking, shopping and restaurants.

I enjoyed my stay here. Friendly staff and the rooms were clean. We walked around the area and had a nice time in the area. ~5 minute walk to the nearest beach which we caught the sunrise at.
